Will there be a subsidized price?

So I noticed that the $799 for the 3G version is said as being the "unsubsidized" price. Does that mean they're going to have a contract for the 3G/4G version that might lower the upfront cost?

No. Verizon markets their tablet plans as "no obligation, month-to-month data plans, starting at $20 for 1GB".

They're not going to subsidize a no-contract product. I believe that was said to make sure everyone knew it wouldn't require a contract in the first place.

Yep, agreed. $799 is what it's going to be...no way in hell will Verizon be subsidizing it down from that for a month to month plan.
