Will this be the nexus 6 specs

What is the expected price point upon release for the lowest model nexus 6 ?

Wasnt the 16gb nexus 5 $399 on launch last year? It seems like it would be hard for them to keep that price point if they are going with those speculated specs in OP

16gb was $350; 32gb was $400

International Business Times is an absolute garbage source. I thought this was well known by now.

I think I might go with a Nexus this time around, I was quite impressed with the Nexus 5 for the price.

If Shamu = Nexus 6

5.9 inch QHD Display
Snapdragon 805 with 3GB RAM
13 MP (Rear) and 2 MP (Front)
Front Facing Speakers
16GB & 32GB
3000-3300 mAh Battery

If Shamu is just another Moto device:

5.9 inch 1080p Display
Snapdragon 801 with 2GB RAM
13 MP (Rear) and 2 MP (Front)
Front Facing Speakers
16GB & 32GB
3000-3300 mAh Battery

If there are front facing speakers on a 5.9 inch device then you will have the largest phone ever made. As previous posters have mentioned I really think this phone will be for developers who are coding for a phone and a tablet.

I believe that a Nexus 6 with about a 5.9" screen is likely. The phablet category is red hot.

Consider this Wall Street Journal article on the decline of tablets (emphasis added).

...In an online survey, the firm Technalysis Research recently asked about 1,000 U.S. respondents how they divide up their time among devices for 22 tasks that include browsing the Web, updating social media, sending emails and watching TV. Tablets were used just 11% of the time, on average, compared with 37% for PCs and 26% for smartphones, the firm found.

Asked by the firm about their buying intentions in the next 12 months, the same group put large smartphones as their most likely purchases, with tablets ranking behind multiple products that include TVs, notebook and desktop PCs.
...

So a 5.9" phablet is the most logical addition to the Nexus line -- along with the possible elimination of the Nexus 7.

Besides, phablets are practical if you're entering a lot of text. I know they look silly and are hard to carry in some cases but they make sense to lots of people.
