Will this car charger work well with my Pixel

I have read a lot about charging the pixel, and it is very technical for me to understand. I am very tech savvy but when it comes to charging I do not want to mess around! This car charger is on sale today for $6 and I wouldn't use the quick charge port, but I was going to use the ismart 2.0 usb port to use on my pixel in the car. I know it won't "rapid charge" but from what I read, any 2.4amp charger will charge the pixel in a decent amount of time.

Is this a safe charger to use in the car with my pixel?

Keep in mind - officially, USB-C cables cannot operate at full capacity unless they are USB-C on both ends or hard-wired on one end and USB-C on the other. The standard USB-A connector is not rated for the current levels supported by USB-C.

FWIW, I use an older car charger with a Bensen approved A to C adapter and it charges at a rate of about 1% per minute. Same results with a standard charger and a Bensen approved A to C cable.

I use one that is only 2.1 amps and is USB-A to USB-C. In general it charges about 1% per minute while listening to podcasts or music over bluetooth. I find that perfectly acceptable.

I'm using a Tronsmart USB C charger I bought from Amazon. It is c to c, so I get the full 5V 3Amp charging speed. It also has a USB A port on it for another device charging simultaneously. I can't remember what I paid for it, but it's currently listed for about $14.
