I have a Nexus 10 and finally have a need to root!
On a SMB share I have 100+GB of music I want to access. The only way to play multiple files (unrouted) is with ES File Explorer. That's OK but I want to use Poweramp player, not the ES music player (which isn't bad).
So when I root my Nexus 10 and use CifsManager I will be able to play music like it was a local directory using music apps of my choice? Even if it works is this practical?
Second question re: rooting - I'm on the latest OTA. Is that a problem with rooting?
