I recently was away from home, and wanted to charge my phone because I had to use hte hotspot feature, so while I was using the hotspot, I had it plugged in charging with my friend's blackberry usb charger. The battery wasnt drained all the way when i started charging, and I didnt charge it fully, I just left it plugged in so my battery didnt get killed.

But ever since i did that, I've noticed my battery isnt lasting as long as it used to. Maybe it's in my head? Is it possible the blackberry usb charger hurt the health of my battery?

Most likely it is in your heard. Most USB chargers are universal to some degree. The biggest difference is their output amperage. Even that really wont damage your phone or battery. If it is lower than needed it will either charge slow or not at all and drain down. If its higher than need be it will still pull the same amount as it would with the stock one. Almost all the chargers take/put out the same voltages and frequencies.

On a side note though it could be that there is just something wrong with it too. Things work until the point they break so it could have just all coincided. But the charger shouldnt be the issue.
