Will using my nexus s sim give me hspa+ on a LG g2x

I guess the question is in the title. Will the speeds go up automatically or do I have to get a new SIM? Thanks in advance for any help

Unless something really weird is going on, your SIM has nothing to do with it. What matters is the phone's radio and antenna. T-Mobile's network will deliver the best speed available for your phone as long as you have a 4G data plan.
