Will the recent Crapple v. Samsung verdict affect the sales price/numbers in the US? I was going to get one in the next few weeks but now I'm afraid they may be re-banned or the price might go up.

What should happen is they license the patents (Like pinch to zoom) and pay Apple a fee per phone. Thats already what they do with MS@$15 per phone. I have no problem paying more for my Android phone if it includes the best parts of ios. I just can't picture a phone without "pinch to zoom". I would also like to have "bounce back" return.
They should have settled this before hand. If anyone sides with Samsung on this... then they have not been following the case closely enough.
I mean after I read the 132 page report...I was like...why is this case continuing?

Hate Apple. This whole lawsuit is just ridiculous. UK court deemed stupid. Leave it to the US to see otherwise. I have the galaxy tab and love it

This was a patent and trade dress suit about phones released in 2010 (think original Galaxy S era). This has absolutely nothing to do with Android proper or the Galaxy Nexus. Gotta remember this was Apple vs. Samsung, not Apple vs. Android or Apple vs. Google.

No this is just the beginning ...every phone that uses the infringed patents will be effected. The companies either reach a license agreement or Android and every phone that uses it is going to suffer.
What phones do not use pinch or tap to zoom?

Actually no phones other than the ones called out in the lawsuit are affected here. This lawsuit doesn't involve anything that's on sale now (if so, barely). Sure, if they don't reach an agreement on licensing for future handsets there may be some more legal action to come, but to the OP's question, this lawsuit has nothing to do with the Nexus and will not affect Google's ability to sell the device.
And remember, this is not a lawsuit from Apple against Android. It was a lawsuit from Apple against Samsung, and nearly everything that was fount to be infringing was Samsung's design or software, not Android's. People tend to forget that.
Pinch to zoom is present in like every touchscreen device though.
And now that apple has a court ruling that found their patent for it valid apple is now essentially free to sue every touchscreen manufacturing who doesn't voluntarily cough up "insert random large sum of choice".

Yeah Thank You! That was the point I was trying to make .
Google makes Android....Apple feels that they have been copied...Google give's Android away for free....
Who do you sue? Not Google they don't make devices. HTC? No they don't make any money.
LG? No they don't make any money. Nokia? No They don't make any money and we cross licensing with MS. Motorola? No they don't make money. RIM....LOL
That just leaves Samsung...They still have an Appeal to re instate the original injunction on the GN to ban sales. That case has not been settled yet. AFAIK.
It won't affect those who own or who soon buy one. I just want then to get the license straightened out so I have no trouble buying my next Nexus. When that come out there should be plenty of used GN's for sale
Its open season on all the other manufactures.

Apple its suing Sammy for the s3 and galaxy nexus date is 2014 and both devices will be history by then.

Are you referring to the lawsuit that just cost samsung the billion dollars? If so it wasn't the nexus or the s3 on trial. It was still the first galaxy s line on trial.
I haven't heard anything about the gnexus or the s3
