Will Verizon offer a cheaper basic data plan now?

If Verizon is offering 1 or 2 gigs for 30 bucks, and Sprint is now offering 3 gigs for 30 bucks, any chance Verizon might offer a 1 gig plan for like 10-15 dollars?

Doubt it. Verizon isn't much to compete on the lower end. They do things like the 2 extra GB per line on their bigger plans.

On the more everything plan, there was a $15 plan for 250mb. Doubt that you would see 2gb for $15 on Verizon anytime soon. That's cheaper than tmobile... By a lot. Granted tmobile does offer unlimited data beyond the 2gb high speed allotment...
