Will we ever see Marshmallow?

Do you think we will? Or should I give up hope at this point?

On a related note, why doesn't the 'Google Edition' M7 have Marshmallow yet? It's more than capable of running it, yet there's no word on it ever coming out. What's the point of purchasing a 'Google Edition' if you get left behind so quickly?

The M7 will not be getting Marshmallow. The companies CEO said it's past the two year life cycle for updates. Not sure about the GPE.
