Will you miss the fast wireless charging?

It is nowhere mentioned that the V20 will have built-in fast wireless charging. So it won't be there.

I have a fast wireless charger & the other day a friend tried his S7 Edge on it. Charging was very fast & the phone did not heat up excessively.
A nice feature to have on a phone.

I do love wireless charging but at the same time it wouldn't be a make or break situation.

Just because it hasn't been mentioned in the rumors doesn't mean it won't be there or not an aftermarket option. Need to wait for the official announcement tonight to find out.

Either way, I've never used wireless charging and not interested in buying the cradles to use it (even the Note 7 requires purchase of the charging cradle to do so). So no skin off my back if it's not included.

I find wireless charging to be one of those "nice to have, but I can also live without it" kind of things.

It's a convenience thing that very nice to use if you take advantage of it, but not really something you can't live without, especially since phones are increasingly adopting the reversible USB-C connector.

I've never used wireless charging before mostly because all the phones I've used up until I purchased the S7 Edge have had removable batteries. But from what I understand it charges the phone slower than it does if you use the quick charge adapter and plug it into a wall outlet? I could see where it would be a nice convenience....just set your phone on a pad and not have to mess with connecting any cables.

A wireless fast charger will be as fast as a standard wall charger, which in my opinion is fast enough.

I would miss wireless charging in general. As it is now my device pretty much sits on one while I'm at work or home. I never have to plug in to charge. It's convenient and lessens the wear and tear on the port.

With a 4000 mah battery, perhaps your V20 would easily get through the day without worrying about charging it at all.

Except at night you mean, where I would need to plug in. Introducing wear and tear to the port where I currently introduce none.

I'm not saying wireless charging is high on my list of must have features, but I do miss it when I don't have it.

On my last several devices that had a removable battery, I would keep one spare battery kit at work and one at home. I just swapped the batteries whenever they got low and went on my way. I could probably count on two hands the amount of times I actually plugged my v10 in.
