Will you upgrade to Note 3 if the only different is a slightly larger screen with 1080p resolution?

It'll be more than just a larger 1080p screen: :D

From Galaxy Note 3 reportedly packing 5.68-inch Full HD SuperAMOLED screen | Android Central

- Display: 5.68-inch Full HD SuperAMOLED
- Chipset: Exynos 5 Octa 5420 CPU at 1.8GHz with Mali-T628 MP6 GPU (3G version only, chipset for 4G version unknown)
- RAM: 3GB (4G version)
- Camera: 13-megapixel with Optical Image Stabilization
- Storage: 16/32/64GB + microSD
- OS: Android 4.3 Jelly Bean
- Battery: 3,200mAh

Also probably have a new version of Touch Wiz with some cool new features!

I'm very interested, but am still withholding judgement. I need to see the final product as to what it's going to look like and get a feel for how it operates. In the meantime, I'm still VERY happy with my Note 2, so no hurry. :)

That does look nice on paper. Thing is, I don't ever use close to the 2gb ram I already have. All apps and graphic intensive games run smooth on my Note 2. Octacore seems like overkill to me. Storage isn't a huge deal to me. With a 64gb card I have more than I'll ever need. Battery is pretty much the same. I don't really use any of Samsung's "enhancements". So what's left? Upgraded screen (although I can't see pixels now unless I get REALLY close) and the camera with ois. That camera is the one thing that sounds nice, but not enough to upgrade. We'll see how it performs once it is actually released.

I love my Note 2. Of course there are some things I wish it did better, like a quicker screen rotation, but all in all I am happy. A bigger screen would not sway me, but maybe faster processing and better & new features would get me to look at it.

There's one in every crowd. 20 lashes with a wet noodle for you. It's gonna be ginormous awesome and you wanna be...what....sensible?

Some of us don't have the financial resources to have the latest and greatest gadget as soon as they come out. I just got my note 2 I'm going to financially need to keep it for a while. So count me in the sensible group as well.

You and me to too. Hey, but I have a healthy kidney I could sell. (just kidding, in today's world you have to actually write 'just kidding').

Simple answer.... Yep.

It would probably have band 4 lte support which with the 1080 screen would be enough for me to upgrade

Yes I'll be upgrading. However, I think the Note 3 will last/suit my needs for at least two years.

ONLY if the form factor is the same size and the bezel gets smaller to raise screen size.

I'll pull if a 32 or 64gb comes out. Other than that probably not.

I will not buy the Note 3 at all unless its in a 32 or 64GB configuration...no reason to downgrade.
