Shinzul says this apk will also work on Sense. Really diggin the ability to rescan with a button.

Quick update. Shinzul says he has got it to scan for a WiMax network and finds one. So good progress being made.

Massive update guys!! WiMax has now been ported!!! It works!! It finally works!! Just waiting for this to be put in a nightly!

Shinzul just tweeted:

Attention all #htc-evo #CyanogenMod users! I and @toastcfh have successfully ported wimax!

Hey guys, how's the stability of Cyanogen nowadays as compared to stock? (be honest...) I looked into it a couple of months ago and heard some mixed reviews. I assume it's gotten better and better over time... (especially now with wimax added)

I've always thought since 6.0 stable it's been incredibly reliable as far as stability goes. If you mess with nightlies and RC releases you're taking a chance.

I like it, it's very fast and with some tweaks/themes you can really get a great looking phone with great performance and 0 bloat.

How about things like Market, etc? Is that all there and working, or are there still some gaps in functionality? Thanks BTW.

There's really no reason NOT to use Cyanogen. I LOVE Stock android. Nexus One and Nexus S are incredible. CM is as close to stock you can get and even better really.

Sure, all the gapps work and are updated faster on CM than any other place else.

edit: actually you can flash the latest gapps probably on anything that already has them.

Everything works except for 4G and HDMI.

4G is REALLY close to being released to the public, and HDMI is around the corner.

Nightlies can act up a bit, but even they are pretty stable fore me. Stick to the release candidates and stable releases and you wont have stability issues at all.

Cyanogen mod. The king of roms.
