Windows can't see my phone

I'm on windows 7 and when I connect with usb and choose disk drive, my drives don't show up. It's working perfectly on my computer at work running XP.

I should add that I've used my win7 box to unroot my phone a few days ago so I can't understand why it doesn't see the phone...it should be working.

nevermind, for whatever reason it works in my other usb port just fine. funny thing is, i know there is nothing wrong with my ports as everyhing else works fine in there.

Perhaps a one-time glitch?

Or a short in the cable, maybe.

Either way, doesn't matter if it works now.

still won't work in that one usb port, strange, but as long as it works in the others, i won't worry about it.

I've had that happen with other devices. Never found out what caused it.

If you unplug the device before the drivers are done installing, this can happen. Usually a reboot or plugging into a different port will fix this.
