Windows Media Player; Playlist

[AC Question]

How do I get a Window Media Player playlsit to play on my nook or Samsung Galaxy S4 Active. I am able to transfer the file, but it says that I do not have the application to play it, but it doesn't tell me what I need. I've tried several already and none of them have worked.

Welcome to Android Central, and sorry for the delay! I doubt that WMP playlists will be compatible with anything Android. iTunes playlists can be uploaded to Google Play Music, and then edited on Google Play Music, but not WMP.

All my music is dragged / synced from my Windows 7 computer from ripped cd's in Windows Media Player. They show as WMA files, and always worked with the stock music player in my Note 3 and galaxy S2. I don't know if Windows 8 is different, and I don't create playlists. The galaxy S4 Active supports WMA.
