Windshield mount falls off in cold weather

I have been using this windshield mount that I bought from the verizon store. Now when the outside temperature is below freezing, the suction cup usually loses its grip on the windshield and the mount falls off. Any remedies for that?

Unfortunately cold makes the rubber condense and become rigid losing the suction pressure in the process. Best way is to remove your mount the night before and in the morning warm up your winshield and then apply again.

not sure just how cold it gets but try this.....use rainX window wipes to prevent fogging....cleach area with alcohol forst tho.....works for me...hope it works for you

Thanks, guys. I've started taking the mount off every night and it's working for me now. I haven't tried the rain x method yet but will give it a try some day.
