Wipe free space of internal storage.

Hello,
How can I wipe the free space of internal storage without "Factory reset"?
If I plug my cell phone to the PC and use a tool like "dd" for wipe the internal storage then can it corrupt my internal storage?

Sorry, can you clarify what you're trying to accomplish? Do you want to overwrite everything in preparation for selling or exchanging the phone?

there are apps in the play store that will wipe free space on your phone. I cannot recommend any nor would I recommend their use. however one way to wipe the space if you have had files that you do not want recovered is to delete the file, then fill the empty space with large files such as movies, then delete.
