Hello

I searched around but cannot seem to find this. Can someone point me to a thread on wiping my Nexus 4. I am getting ready to return to Google for a replacement but wanted my "stuff" off it first.

Thanks for your help

When you do that then the Nexus 4 still appears in your list of devices on the play store right? You have to do something else if you want google to stop associating the device to your account I think but don't know what.

Im pretty sure we cant take the device off the list of devices on Google Play. The only thing we can do is stop it appearing when installing apps through Google Play

I think there was something mentioned on this forum, about deleting the data of google services or something similar before you wipe out the phone. Can't remember what it was precisely but I'm pretty sure it was mentioned here somewhere.

unused devices eventually disappear from the list on the play website. that list doesn't mean those devices are active, it just means that they have been active at some point recently.

I made this thread with steps to remove it from web but i wouldn't recommend doing it either. simple hide it from playstore web

Thanks still1, that's precisely what I was thinking about. Didn't remember it was so complicated!
