I am familiar with flashing roms from the SD card. My question is since I will have to do a wipe before I flash a rom to my Nexus. There is no SD so will this erase my pics and videos?

When I went from stock and unlocked rooted it did. Flashing between roms all that stuff for me was left untouched.

When you wipe data/factory reset from within Clockworkmod Recovery, your internal SD will NOT be touched, you're good.

The only times the internal sd gets wiped are when you
1. First unlock your bootloader.
and
2. If you choose to do a factory reset from within your OS, like in the android settings menu. Just do it from CWR before you flash a ROM and you're fine.

There is no SD card in the Galaxy Nexus, but there is an internal partition called "sdcard" which acts as a virtual SD card. It is treated like an SD card by Android. It is not cleared during a wipe data/factory reset from recovery. So assuming your pictures and video on stored on the virtual SD card (which they are by default), you will not lose anything.

As mentioned, if you haven't already unlocked the bootloader then the virtual SD card will have to be cleared before you can flash a ROM. But that's what Dropbox is for!

Didn't know that. Very good to know!
