Can I wipe all data from my charge without losing root so I may sell it?

Thanks in advance for your thoughts

I'm pretty sure that just doing a factory reset won't remove root. As long as you're not using Odin to return to stock and you're only using the reset feature on the handset you'll be fine.

Confirmed. I just did this on my Charge to wipe all data before I sold it. But it remains rooted and it maintains the custom ROM as well if you are running one.

Is there an actual app that erases and wipes free space? That would work on the galaxy s3. I want to basically delete deleted files so they won't get recovered.
