Wiping Battery Stats

Hey guys, I was wondering about wiping the battery stats on the stock Bolts and starting anew. Is it possible or do they have to be rooted first?

You need to be rooted and boot into clockwork recovery mode.

If you set back to factory clean memory that would do it wouldnt it? If you root you will loose everything anyways

Not if you have everything backed up but yes if you don't mind wiping everything off the phone that would be one way.
Also you don't need to wipe your phone if you're just rooting.

I thought rooting wipes it out? Thats what i was reading the other day in the top links... Kinda new to this os. Maybe theres different ways of rooting?

There are different ways of rooting but you wont need to wipe anything unless you're flashing between different Roms. At that point.. once you have root access you can download apps like Titanium which requires root access to use ..and backup your data/apps so you can easily restore everything when wiping out the phone before flashing Roms.

All i know it was a 800mb file they said you had to dl to root? I didnt do it because i dont know enough but thanks for explaining.
