Has anyone had any luck with wireless charging in the car? I have a charger that worked for my note 4, rated to output 5v 1amp. Actual out put was more like 600-700 amps 4.2v. This thing will not charge my force with the screen on. Tried many different 12 volt adapters rated at 5v 2.4 amps, including a QC 3.0 but result was always the same. Slow discharge occasionally it would increase a percentage but aways go back down.

Anyone successfully using a wireless car charger? I know it's slow but I like the convenience.

I even tried the Tumi pack but quickly realized it was exactly the Incipio pack just rebranded.

What's also strange is that I have a desktop QI charger that works with the force and it's rated the same.

The convenience of wireless charging is great! However, I don't think there is a work around for your case as I'm pretty sure the wireless backing is not fast charge compatible. That's why it will only charge at the rated speed. With the screen on, you will have depletion at a slower rate while it's on the charger. Probably best to keep it charging wired in this case.

I am looking at getting the air dock 2.0 which is rated to quickly charge your phone, not as fast as turbo power but still quick. I'll post my review of it once I receive it

Great...I was looking at the air dock. They seem really adamant about no returns unless the phone you are trying it with is an approved phone. They list the turbo 2 as approved but obviously not the z yet. May be hard to return it if it ends up not working.

It's a shame because the best place to use this technology is in the case imo. But it needs to work with the screen on.
