Wireless charger question

I got the samsung wireless charging pad from best buy with my note yesterday.

Does it charge fast like the regular charger?

The wireless pad does have fast charging, but it's not quite as ​fast as the regular fast charger.

The charger, you received from best buy with your phone does not support fast charging. Samsung has recently released the black fast wireless pad for $69 on their website. Be aware, a lot of us have not had a lot of luck with the free one. It's not compatible with the Note 5.

Yeah. The one that you get free from besy buy is not great. Woke up one night to a dead phone and if it does charge, it isnt 100%. Works best when you turn the daydream feature on, but it is nothing to write home about.

It will charge a little bit then the halo starts blinking and it says wireless charging paused on the phone.

What causes that? Is that what the blinking means?

One other note... When it starts blinking and pauses, if I take it off and put it back on, it starts charging again.

The N 5 fast charges pad is beginning to populate a few (overseas) vendors on Amazon and should be hitting mainland retailers in October.

The problems with the pad you have are well documented - it has worked for some.

Hopefully there won't be the same problems with the fast charge pads when they come out!!!!

I'm done trying to get the Samsung best buy wireless charger to work. What are my options with BB? Will they exchange it for something else in the store? I'm not interested in getting a replacement. Too many guys have done that multiple times, and it doesn't make any difference
