Wireless Charging and Phone Cases

I will be getting my Pixel 4XL on Wednesday. I also would like to quick charge my phone with a wireless charger. I am looking into phone cases. What type of case do I need to buy so it wirelessly charges. Does it matter? Or can I just by any case and it will charge regardless? I bought a cheap one just to start me off ,but if I don't have to buy a specific type of case to wirelessly charge my phone then I don't want to.

I've been using the pixel stand as my wireless charger, I have one in my office and one in my night stand since the pixel 3 xl last year and now the pixel 4 xl. I had 8 cases for my 3 xl and wireless charging worked with all of them. So far for the 4 xl I'm using one of Google's official fabric cases and wireless charging works and also have a Spigen clear case which wireless charging works as well.

I think based on my past experience most cases will be fine unless you purchase one of those dual layer cases like OtterBox then you might have a problem if they are too thick. I haven't encounter any cases so far that wireless charging did not work, but also I've never used really bulky or dual later cases.

This is the one I bought says hybrid but it's basically one piece. It had a Flexible TPE bumper + Solid PC back plate. So hopefully it will work.

Pixel Stand works with my Pixel 4 and Pixel 3 in Speck Presidio Grip Cases.

You should be fine with that case. Even with thick otter box cases you'll be fine. The only time you'll find inconsistencies is if you use a case with a metal plate in it for those magnetic car mounts.

Sounds good. I did not get a pixel stand wireless charger. I got one off of Amazon recommended by another Pixel 4 owner that works good. Will be nice not having to plug my phone in at night. Just sit it on the charger
