Wireless charging stand pixel 3xl

Hello, I bought the wireless charging stand for my Pixel 3 XL. I also bought a leather wallet case to protect my phone.

Half the time the wireless charging stand won't work. I suspect because the leather case? Anyone else having similar issues?

Yes, there is brass studs. The wallet case is made up to look like an old school leather bound book. So that must be it.

Shame... I really like the case...

Metal in the case can cause more problems than just interfere with wireless charging -- it might also interfere with cell or wi-fi signal. (It depends on where the metal is located.)
