A friend of mine has an S10+ and was given a wireless charger. However, she said she can't use it because it won't charge her phone thru the Otterbox case. Is that true or does it only depend on the charger? If so is there a recommended charger? I have my S10+ in an Otterbox so this is of interest to me. TIA

If the case is thin enough and doesn't contain metal it will charge.

I have my phone in an otterbox symmetry and it "fast' wireless charges fine.

I have an Anker wireless charger and it charges my S10+ through the UAG Monarch case. I think some chargers are better than others.

I have an Otterbox Defender and a Hypergear wireless fast charger stand and I'm able to fast charge with the case on. I've also tried it on my friends Dewalt wireless charger and it worked on that also. Hope that helps!

I have an Otter+Pop Defender Series. It's an Otterbox Defender series with a built-in swappable PopSocket. I also have a Samsung Fast Wireless Charger. My S10+ charges 95% of the time when the PopSocket is fully retracted. Occasionally, it will not charge, so I have to remove the PopSocket in order for it to charge.

FWIW, my Spigen case, by itself, lets the phone charge wirelessly, but if I put the metal disc inside it that lets my use teh phone with my magnetic car holder, no dice. That disc is all it takes to kill the signal. This is a bummer, as I really like that holder, but I am not taking the case off every time I want to charge.

I have an Otterbox Defender + a BaseUs Jelly wireless charger and my S10 Plus charges normally.
