Wireless charging

It has no wireless charging on any carrier. Wireless charging is not supported on the One.

Of all the wireless charging I have seen if you use the phone at all it wont charge. Not the HTC One as it does not have WC.

I read a review that said wireless charging is like plugging your USB cord into an old USB1.0 port with 250mah of juice.

Wireless charging from what I've read is nowhere near as efficient as just plugging in the device. It's also very dependent on range. While a convenience for some, I think it's going to be a gimmicky feature until the range is improved along with the charge rate.

If I could walk into my house/room and have it start charging that would be fantastic. Even something as simple as just having it anywhere in the vicinity of my work desk would make it worth while.

Yes it takes longer to charge and has to be on a pad but its more convenient then finding a cable right before your going to bed. Its a gimmick currently but I think it will be standard once the tech gets better for faster charging speed or a larger range, like you said. Its a very cool feature to have though.

Timewise, wireless vs usb is not that much slower. You will not really notice the difference unless you sit with a stopwatch. I have Lumia 920 and use wireless exclusively. I was concerned about heat with wireless but it isnt an issue. Its new and people are going to say its a gimmick and bash, but once you use it, it really is a nice feature. In 5 yrs all phones will have wireless charging and we will wonder how we lived without it and bash the phones that don't have it.
