I know they are saying the v10 will support wireless charging. Is that what is built in to the back of the battery door?? I see 2 metal contacts. If not what's that there for?

Whoa! You are one of those lucky ones where LG put wireless charging on the back cover. I hear only 1/10,000 phones have this.

You are so lucky!

Sorry had, to. It's NFC.

Where did you get this information from? My V10 has the same metal terminals.... from T-Mobile

It looks like the same scenario as the G3 and G4.
The phone comes with wireless ability but not the hardware (special battery back cover with 4 metal prongs).
You will need to buy the wireless back cover separately.
Or wait for a wireless sticker to become available on ebay/Amazon.

Since Stan was being too subtle, to be clear: it has to do with boosting NFC, not wireless charging.

I did the same thing first time I took the back off. I got really excited for like 20 seconds before I looked closer. If you look at the phone, there are two metal prongs that are near the battery contacts.....those would be for the wireless charging. The contact points you see on this back plate don't line up with those, so they must be for NFC. They align with contact points by the SIM / MicroSD trays.

So the V10 can hold a qi wireless sticker like the G3 and G4?
