Wireless charging

Just checked my verizon accessories link and it shows the wireless charging battery cover, but no wireless mat. Does anyone know how much thicker it makes the phone? I assume then that you can't use a protective case with it either, right? Is it even worth it?

Just for the wireless base and cover you're looking at close to $100.

Supposedly it uses the new LG Wireless Mat too which is better than powermat.

It's the same one they are showing at HTCPedia.Com. Check it out HERE. From talking to the guy at Verizon he says that it uses your stock battery and when he showed me the mat (on his computer), the picture showed it was just slightly bigger than the phone itself.
