Wireless connection not reliable with Droid RAZR M

Using my home wireless connection for my Razr M phone worked flawlessly until a couple days ago. Now web pages stop loading and apps lose connectivity after a while.

I tried restarting my modem, turning off phone's WiFi and then back on, and rebooting my phone. WiFi status on phone flashes "temporarily avoiding poor connection" and then connected. All of these help for a bit, then back to unresponsive. WiFi signal is strong and blue whole time.

If I use my 4G Verizon instead, everything works fine. Any ideas on what I can try?

Not a solution, but I have exactly this problem. I just got a new phone and installed the system upgrade, but even though my wifi claims to be connected at 65-67 Mbps, it is inconsistent. Sometimes it works perfectly, at high speeds (measured by the Speedtest app), and other times, it stalls entirely (failing even to ping in Speedtest). Either way, it claims excellent connection quality and the indicator is full and blue, with up and down arrows flickering.

I installed Wifi Fixer from PlayStore. That completely fixed my problems. Give it a try.
Some recommend fiddling with phone WiFi settings, but that did not help at all.
