Wireless Dex and Your Phone

I used wired Dex to my work laptop for the last year with the Note 10+ and loved it. It seems to be working great with my Note 20U. I don't have miracast on my TV and lost my Microsoft display adapter when I forgot to take it from the motorhome I rented during a test in the desert for work years ago. So I'm not sure how to use wireless Dex. I'm guessing it can't connect to my work laptop wirelessly with the same functionality? Can anyone confirm this?

Also, I tried setting up the Your Phone app on my laptop, but it gets stuck at some point where it looks like I have to agree to something, but nothing pops up on either device. Anyone get this to work?

I used Wireless DeX for the first time today via my Fire TV Stick by enabling screen mirroring on the stick. Even though a notification popped up on my phone warning me that my mirroring device was not optimized for Dex, it worked perfectly.

I got the same notification on my 2017 Samsung TV. I love Wireless Dex, because it now allows me to watch HBOMax on my TV, since my firestick doesn't support it, and its not supported on my SamsungTV also.

YES! I didn't even think about this. I use Roku's throughout my house & HBOMax & Peacock aren't supported. I will definitely try this out.

You shouldn't need DeX for that, even my Note 3 could do it, screen mirroring has been in Samsung phones for a long time.

Didnt get hbomax to work on dex, but it works great with smart View. Never thought to try it.
