Wireless Fast Charger

The fast charge adapter that came with my Samsung FC 2.0 has output ratings of 5V/2A, 9V/1.67A, 12V/2.1A

Just so I'm clear; the "samsung FC 2.0" is the new two pad charger? And that charger is different than the one that came with the s10?
(Sorry. I'm feeling obtuse)

Yes and yes the two are different.

I have a question for anyone who currently uses a wireless fast charger......does your device ever get warm or hot while charging?

I just picked up the Samsung (2019) duo wireless charger yesterday, at Best Buy. I had it on the charger for a little over an hour and detected only a slight warmth, to the back of the phone.

not my s10 but my s8 would get warm when I'd be Wireless charging and listening to bt speaker. maybe check for open apps?

So if the adapter that came with our phones is 2.0 and they sell a 3.0 adapter why would that not charge the phone (wireless charger) faster?

Anker is telling me that even if I buy their 3.0 adapter it still will not charge it any faster, but that makes no sense.

It will only charge as fast as the weakest link in the chain will allow. In this case, it's the limitations of current QI wireless charging.

No, see my above post. QC 2.0 does 5, 9 and 12 V and up to 18W. Samsung chargers are QC 2.0 compatible, so you'll get the full ability of a 10W charger out of it.

Oh Ok and our phone goes up to how many watts of wireless charging? Like the duo Samsung charger says Fast Charge 2.0 and it comes with a special charger you have to use. The whole QC 2.0/3.0 sorry it just all confuses me.

This is true. Even the new pad from Samsung is only 12W.
With that said, it takes around 1h45m to 2hrs to fast wireless charge my S10+ on the Anker 10W

Oh I was just asking that so the new pad from Samsung is 12W and our phone only goes up to 10W? And what was my 9 plus like 5 or 7.5W? I do know the new Duo charger comes with a special brick like the person above said and you have to use it Samsung told me. I have a Gear S3 so I am wanting the duo charger. But right now I am using the Samsung charging stands the newer ones with USB C.

Tested with a USB meter, the S10 draws in the ballpark up to 17W when using the Duo FC 2.0

I just got the Samsung wireless charger pad and both my phone and the pad were very warm after changing.
