Wireless Powershare issue

Having issue using wireless power share to charge my galaxy s2 watch. My phone is charged 100%. I turn powershare mode on place my galaxy s2 watch it starts charging initially for about 5 seconds then disconnects. I use with/without phone case and get the same outcome. Anyone else experience this?

Have you tried any other devices on the phone or have you ever tried the watch on a 'normal' Qi charger? I've had no issues with devices I KNOW work on normal pads, but with my OG Moto360 it does the same thing as what you're describing... but the watch does the same thing with any other pad tat's not the original charger puck.

I don't think the Gear S2 is compatible with the newer style of charging. Seems I read this somewhere in here too. My Gear S2 won't either, but everything else will including an old S6 Edge I have laying around.

Looks to be an incompatibility issue. That's too bad I was planning to use power share mainly with my s2 watch. Guess I still need to lug around my watch charger
