Wireless Tether & Liberty 1.5

Overall, I'm very, very happy with Liberty 1.5. The only app I use regularly that isn't running as expected is Wireless Tether. It's slow to start, often won't close (or even FC) and on provides an intermittent and very slow 'net connection.

WT worked fine when I was rooted/stock .340. Anyone else run into this problem with WT? And find a solution?

Fortunately, I've got Barnacle working as a fall-back. And PDANet is always there as a tethered solution. So at least things are functional.

I was gonna suggest barnacle but you seem to have it already. I haven't used these apps very much recently. Its more the reason that I rooted in the 1st place. But found many other variables to play with. I hope you find the answer to your current conundrum

I have similar problems running Wireless Tether with ApeX on 3 different X's.
It is also buggy on friend of mine's stock 2.2 X.
Barnacle works better but doesn't do infrastructure, so depending on what you are wanting to connect it may or may not work.
