Wireless Tether on Thunderbolt Not Working

Basically, I installed the latest Wireless Tether from here: Downloads - android-wifi-tether - Wireless Tether for Root Users - Google Project Hosting I am rooted, but when I try to start the tether it says there are problems and to check the log, when going to the log it says log not found. Any help? I think it has to do with Wireless Tether not thinking I'm rooted.

Did you load the SuperUser app after you rooted??? I'm not familiar with all the other rooting processes, but I really like the ADB process here in the sticky thread at the top of the forum... at the end you load the SuperUser app, then load an app that requires SuperUser privileges... that way you know you are rooted.

Besides there are a lot of ROM's out there that already have a wireless app built into them... at least most of the Gingerbread ROMs I've used do... like CM7 and Gingeritis 3D.

Thanks that fixed it, you've been a great help today. I thought that's what I might have had to do but wanted to make sure. Know any 3.0 sense gingerbread ROMS with a hotspot?

I'm currently using Gingeritis 3D VII... I really like it, but there is some Bug... I have not seen it... something about when phone calls come in and you only get the reject button... it's being reported to only happen once out of ten times... like I said I have not seen it.

You want to try something else... Das BAMF Sense 3.0 is pretty good, but it's been at least a month since I have tried it.
