Wireless USB adapter?

I have a Dodge Ram with Uconnect. I cannot use navigation unless it is plugged into my phone, so the phone is constantly charging. I was wondering if a wireless adapter would be better? I don’t want my phone constantly charging If I’m on the road for hours..

I use this one and it's probably the best out there for Android Auto, I'm linking to eBay but target has them for 89.00

I just recently started using the Ottocast mini adapter. A month and counting, it works pretty well.
