Wish this phone was not by Samsung!

I am basing what I said on personal experience - not research...I have done my research too and I am still sticking by what I said. I wish the design was by a different company. I hope I am proven wrong since I am getting one.

Holy crap, you cant be serious! This is in the running for worst post related to GN. Do some damn research before you come and post incoherant drivle.

Samsung makes amazing hardware. Always have. But their software support on the Android side of things has been lackluster, at least in the states. Gotta remember, you also have the carrier to blame for that.

So you get the benefit of having top notch hardware with software support direct from Google. I have no idea what there is to complain about.

I got a lot of positive feelings regarding samsung from this thread. It was worthwhile, at least to me. But, who do we blame for the lack of information on a release date? Samsung, Google or Verizon? My only issue with the GN is when will be be able to buy the darn thing!

Boy I stirred the pot around here a little bit! I TOTALLY understand what Nexus is all about and that's why I plan on getting one. I had a Fascinate (rooted) and Samsung took forever with the updates and I was honestly not a fan of its performance.

If you understand what a Nexus is, then why are you complaining about this? It's not an issue with a Nexus device.

If you understand what a Nexus is, then why are you complaining about this? It's not an issue with a Nexus device.

First you say good thing it is a Nexus, then you mention Samsung's slow updates. Might as well mention how much Microsoft Windows sucks as well, as it is just as relevant as Nexus and Samsung software updates.
