You can root it by flashing TWRP recovery via Odin. You want d2vzw TWRP recovery. After you flash TWRP, it will ask if you want the system read only or writable. Make it writable. Then make a backup. After your backup is complete it will pop up and ask if you want to root. Tell it yes.
