With android 2.2 and the JIT compiler

How does that work with the 30fps cap on the EVO?
In the Android 2.2 Platform Highlights Video, one of the big speed gains with the JIT is the ability to maintain a higher frame rate above 30 fps?

Does this mean that 2.2 would remove the 30fps cap?

No word on if the 30fps cap is even going to be removed.
However, people down at xda-developers have found a solution that isn't that great for the public.

Anyway, graphics overall can be smoother because instead of getting 24 fps, we could get 29fps...
However, there has been no word on the removal of the 30fps cap.

Though if it doesn't get fixed, you can expect an uproar.
