With Bluetooth on all the time, can my phone get hacked into?

Now that I have a Galaxy watch, my S9 phone's bluetooth is always on to be paired with my watch. Is this a potential security risk? Can someone nearby me try to hack my phone via my Bluetooth signal being on?

I haven't seen a Bluetooth hack in a few years, but yes, it's certainly possible.
