with lg g5, how do I change the wire from charging to transfer files to my pc?

I am using windows 10 pro on my pc.
Some procedure on the cell lg g5 will change charging to transfer files to PC. What is it?

Welcome to Android Central! After connecting via USB, swipe down the notification panel -- do you see a USB notification? If so, tap it, and select MTP (or File Transfer).
