A few people with the new 1.55 update are reporting that the problem with highlights and flares are fixed and now better than the S7 in low light photos.

It's the new update for Taiwan. Taiwan always gets the updates first. Here's one.

Good to see that the camera is continually getting updates, but as far as those images go, I think the S7E looked better to me.

Then again, I'm posting on my phone and it's hard to really compare the two.

My carrier will be releasing the 1.53 update which has a bunch of camera tweaks, but I'm not sure if the 1.55 has even more than the 1.53.

This is good to know. The lens flare issue on mine is pretty bad. Hopefully, the wait isn't long for this update.
