Without Rooting, how can I make my HTC One V play games better?

I have a 16GB Sd card with 11.3 GB left on it. I use the apps Clean Master, JuiceDefender, and I used that Task Manager that is included with the phone. I also use Nova Launcher Prime as my default launcher. No matter what I do, HD games are laggy. What should I do? I was thinking about getting the LG Optimus F3 but would that make a big difference?

Well, all those things run in the background so it slows down the cpu and fills up the ram. So try playing the games without those apps on your phone.

I believe I should keep them, because when I didn't have those apps, my phone was laggy, hence the reason why I got them apps. So are there any other methods you can suggest?
