Woke up in the morning to find my phone having a purple spot on the bottom left corner

So i woke up at around 10am, phone still on the bed and didnt use my phone and noticed the purple spot until 11am. I panicked since i didnt drop the phone or anything, and the night before it didnt have the purple spot. I didn't slept on my phone either

Welcome to Android Central! The screen is most likely starting to fail. Make sure you backup or sync your important data NOW, because it's hard to tell how quickly the whole screen might fail. Then bring the phone to a repair shop (or, if it's still under warranty, contact the manufacturer).
