Won't Power Up

I have a non-rooted Nexus that's only two weeks old. I left it off the charger and ran the battery all the way down. I have been trying to charge it for about 45 minutes, but it won't power up. With the exception of a few standard apps like Google Earth, Music, Friendcaster, etc., I don't have anything out of the ordinary downloaded. Any suggestions?

Tried the power button trick. Even held it down for about 2 minutes but still nothing. So do I return it to Staples where I purchased it or contact Google? I purchased it on 8/12.

Since you bought it from staples, you have to return it to them
