So I got the new Galaxy s8+ and so far I love the phone. I have tried everything to make this happen and nothing works. If I connect to my PC with the USB cable the PC see's the phone and all files. I go to the DCMI folder and I can see all pictures and video I have taken on the phone. I can transfer the pictures to the PC without any issue however when I try to move the video's and they are short two or three min videos the PC either stops responding or just sits there saying coping and never stops. From the drop down I have Transfer media files checked. I have tried other settings but nothing seems to work. I even downloaded software to help and still nothing. Using Windows 7. Any thoughts? Thank you.

Welcome to Android Central! Have you tried a different USB cable? Are you using the one that came with the phone?

I am using the USB that came with the phone. I also tried an old one with the adapter the phone came with and it does the same thing.
