Having troubles with Words with Friends on your Nook?

First, if you are a new user, creating an account on the Nook doesn't seem to send the confirmation email. This will cause "Network Error" messages and make it seem like the app isn't working. After signing up in-app, head out to here to send a password reset and you'll be able to log in:

FC issues? One user mentioned uninstalling and reinstalling will fix this.

Your rack letters will be a little cut-off at the bottom, but it does seem to run.

You can re-arrange the letters to be able to use them. But yes: blow-ish.

Froyo. Yah: if the letters aren't in the "tray" you can't seem to use them, but if you grab one of the first five and move it to the right, they re-arrange so the last letter will move onto the tray. Or just dump letters onto the board until the one you want is usable.

Like I said: blow-ish.

And I seem to have scared off my opponent with my two nice words compare to his "bud" and "net"; the weak link in online gaming is always the humans.

Not cross platform - but word feud is working fine on my NC.

it's so colorful!

its also sucks that sometimes its hard to drag out the tiles

haha, I'm still using WordFeud, and it works flawlessly on the NC... sorry, but Words with Friends is NOT > WordFeud if it doesn't work correctly

Well, before yesterday, I never played either of these. But after sampling them, I think I'm gonna stick with WordFeud since (a) it actually works correctly on the Nook Color (as mentioned previously) and (b) it's not Zynga.

May even pay for it to get rid of the annoying popup ads.

I am still having major issues with this app. The first being the letters that are difficult to grab, because they display below other graphics. The second and most frustrating being that every ad that pops up after my turn seem to freeze my nc which requires me to reboot.....every....single....time. I have uninstalled and re-installed. Terrible.

The letters issue is a pain, yes. But at least it's playable. And to whomever said it wasn't cross-platform, that's certainly not the case. I'm playing against iOS users on the Nook.

For the ad lockups, install Advanced Task Killer Free. Then just kill WwF and relaunch. It works 95% of the time.
