Work Wifi

Can someone help me connect to my wifi at work? Wifi is available but when I search for wifi nothing shows up. My friend has an iPhone which automatically connects to the wifi after signing in using the web browser. I can't even get to that point. Using CM7 there are a lot of options in the wireless settings and I don't know what to set. Usually when using public Wifi it does this automatically but thats not the case where I work. Is there an app I can download that'll find the wifi?

Is ur work wifi using a hidden SSID? Do u know the SSID? If u do then goto wifi setting and add a wifi network include the SSID and the network security type.

I don't think it's a hidden SSID. The wifi is used for employees as well as guests and my friends iPhone finds it without any special settings.

The most obvious methods. Ask the IT people, your boss, supervisor about it.

The only thing I can think of is possibly the settings for your work's wifi doesn't support your phone.

However I agree with Eollie. Ask IT or your superiors.

This. Two different android phones didn't connect to my college campus. When I tried iphone and ipod touch, it worked with no special settings.
