I read that the radio built in the Xoom is the same as the CDMA/GSM unit that is in the iPhone...

Does this mean that the Xoom can be used with an international data plan when traveling?

It does have a CDMA/GSM radio and it does have a Sim card slot....however I doubt that GSM functionality is enabled.

Hopefully in the future, Motorla will push an update to not only enable the micro SD slot but also the GSM radio.
