Which countries will the US version of the N5 not work in? This assumes you have a sim card from the country you are in.

somebody correct me if i'm wrong, but it looks like the main issue is the lack of LTE international interoperability. e.g., the US N5 won't work on UK LTE networks.

this is really too bad. one of the things I love about my N4 is the ability to take it back and forth between Europe and the U.S. and not be gimped on either side of the pond.

It should work in almost all countries that has GSM. Now, if you want to talk about 3G or LTE data, that's a very different story. But you should have no problem with 2G data and voice, SMS.

That is great if true because I when I travel overseas I just need voice and SMS overseas. I am content with waiting to get data on WiFi. So it sounds like I can just pop in my onesimcard.com world sim card and at least have voice and text worldwide then?
