I don't think I can buy a Oneplus again. The phone is great when it works but if God forbid you need any help, Oneplus has the worst customer service. Even worse than Comcast.
In April my home button stopped working. I reached out to them and they refused to send me a replacement and then return the defective phone. I had to be without a phone for up to 2 weeks if I wanted it fixed. I was traveling a bunch and didn't have 2 weeks so I made due.
Then at the start of July I finally had the window to send the phone in and about 10 days later I get it back but now the vibration is not working.
Again they forced me to send it in and be without a phone. The turn around was about 7 days the second time and I got it back yesterday. Now, the microphone doesn't work when I use the speakerphone.
Surprise, they want me to send it back. At this point I am traveling again and can't and they don't care how inconvenient it has been to interact with them and own this phone.
What's the point of buying a cool phone like this if the company behind it doesn't take care of you?
Has anyone had a good experience with their customer service? If yes, can you help me by telling me how you accomplished that?
This has been a terrible experience and I am quite literally about to just throw away the phone and buy a new one. So sad that this is how Oneplus works because they make nice phones.
